Meet Your PRESENTER
Hello, my name is Rodrigo del Castillo.
For over half a decade, I’ve been deeply passionate about Balinese history. That passion began in early 2020, on my first flight to Bali, when I realized I knew almost nothing about the place I was about to visit. I started reading — and I was immediately hooked.
Living in Bali transformed that curiosity into something much deeper. Through friendships, time spent in temples, and witnessing powerful ceremonies I began to understand that Bali is far more than a beautiful island. It is layered, complex, and full of meaning.
What surprised me the most was how only few people knew this incredible story.
I decided to share what I had learned through live presentations. I’ve now hosted this experience over 200 times, and the feedback has been overwhelming:

Now, for the first time, that same experience is available online — no flight to Bali required. I've rebuilt it from the ground up as a cinematic, story-driven journey, with the same pacing and emotion people responded to in the room, brought to life through visuals and narration you can watch anywhere, at your own pace.
I’m a historian by obsession, an educator by vocation, and a storyteller by nature. This project is the result of years of research, performance, and a genuine love for Bali and its past.
